Part Time Optician

Job Description

We are seeking a Part Time Optician to support an optometry practice. This primarily patient-facing role will focus on dispensing prescription glasses while also supporting scheduling, prescription processing, insurance verification, and optical operations. Strong EHR skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Schedule patients and support an efficient practice workflow.
Assist patients with prescription frame selection.
Perform accurate lens measurements.
Process eyeglass prescriptions.
Complete optical adjustments to ensure comfort and proper fit.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
Maintain accurate patient information using the EHR.
