Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.Job Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repairs to HVAC systems and associated equipment, including chillers, air handling units, condensers, exhaust fans, boilers, and hot water pumps.Execute equipment maintenance including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts to maintain HVAC systems at optimum performance levels.Record readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.Knowledge of and ability to manage Building Automation / Control Systems to ensure effective / efficient operations within the HVAC systems that this role will support.Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace.Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure excellent execution of maintenance work.Requires travel to assigned sites/locations, including overnight travel as needed based on business demand.Support continuous improvement by reviewing client service request summaries to identify recurrent operational problems, evaluating vendor performance, and maintaining safe workplace practices through proper hazardous materials management and tool inventory oversight.Core Competencies:Technical expertise in HVAC systems operationMulti-craft technical skills (electrical, plumbing, piping)Problem-solving and troubleshootingSafety compliance and proceduresQuality control and inspectionPreventive maintenanceCommunication and teamworkRequired Qualifications:EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (required for handling refrigerants)Fall Protection CertificationLifting Equipment Certification (if operating powered industrial trucks)Confined Space Certification (if applicable)Evidence of applicable State or local HVAC licensing as requiredDemonstrated experience in HVAC maintenance and repairPhysical Demands:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsWork may require travel to various sites and rooftop locationsMust be able to work in team environment with strong interpersonal skillsWork Environment:Work hours: Monday – Friday (may vary based on site requirements).
