HEAD COACH / COMMUNITY ACTIVATOR Are you passionate about driving fitness results in your community?  Do you feel you can INSPIRE just about everyone? Do you thrive on being a team leader of Certified Fitness Professionals?  Does your zest for being part of a world-class, growing fitness company get you out of bed with a smile and determination to change more lives -- physically, mentally, and emotionally?  Do you have excellent communication skills, whether face-to-face or on paper?  If yes, then this Head Coach position could be a fit.  This position runs all the "beyond the glass” back-of-house” fitness studio operations, including driving sales conversions, hiring, and training fitness pros, managing the schedule, and community outreach at single Orangetheory Fitness studio. 
 
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

• Compensation: Per Class + Hourly + Special incentives
• $30 to $85 per class
• $17 to $25 per hour for client management, community outreach, events, training, and recruiting. 
• Periodic special incentives: Google Reviews, Closing Percentage, HRM Sales
• The annual Compensation Range of per class, hourly, and special incentives is approximately $51,000 to $72,000

MORE ABOUT THE POSITION

• Coach 8 to 12 classes per week.
• Spend about 12 to 18 hours a week doing community outreach marketing, planning, customer care contacts, coach evaluations, and delivering coach workshops. 
• Lead a team of engaged fitness professionals and help our members achieve More Life!
• Inspire and motivate members through pre-designed workouts.
• Make sure members are safe and using the correct form.  
• Offer form corrections on the rower, tread, or weight room floor.
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate-focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing.
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
• Being a team player
• Being part of a team passionate about fitness and serving the community.
• Passion for lifelong learning.
• Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships.
• Recruiting and interviewing fitness professionals to join our team.

Requirements - Must Have One of the Following Certifications
Discounts are available for these certifications through Orangetheory Fitness.

• ACE CPT or Group Fitness
• NASM CPT
• AFAA Group Fitness
• NSCA CPT or CSCS
• ACSM CPT, Group Exercise Instructor, or Certified Exercise Physiologist
• Plus, be AED/CPR certified.

ABOUT US
Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up their metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.
