Logistics Coordinator

Overview Ergon Trucking, Inc is looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Petal, MS. The coordinator will relay information between drivers and customers to ensure proper equipment is used and orders are delivered safely and timely. Strong communication, negotiation, supply management knowledge, record‑keeping and customer‑oriented approach are essential. Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations Ensure premises, assets and communication are used effectively Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures Dispatch and coordinate drivers according to availability and requirements Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers to achieve mutual satisfaction Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements Prepare accurate reports for upper management Skills Proven experience as logistics coordinator Experience in customer service appreciated Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes Computer‑savvy with logistics software Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities Excellent communication, interpersonal and phone skills Ability to sit for long periods Professional appearance and attitude Job Type Full‑time Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Additional benefits: 401(k), Health, Life, Dental, Holidays, Vacation, Sick Leave, Tuition Assistance and Profit Sharing.
