Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a valued member of the onsite nursing team, you'll play an integral role in promoting student health and safety throughout summer programming.

Qualifications:

• Valid California LVN License
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting is an advantage
• Strong clinical skills including catheter care and familiarity with common school-age health needs
• Confidence in providing care during field trips and adapting to mobile support settings
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work as part of a larger clinical team
• Reliability and adaptability, supporting LVN Pool needs as required
• Commitment to professional conduct and safeguarding student privacy
• Female candidates preferred, per client request

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing and health services to students, including those with catheter needs
• Support staff and students during the school day and offsite field trips
• Monitor and document student health status and respond promptly to health concerns
• Coordinate with other school healthcare professionals as part of the LVN Pool, supporting coverage for absences or urgent needs
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families to promote a healthy school environment

This summer contract runs from June 15, 2026, to July 8, 2026, with holidays observed on Juneteenth and July 3rd. Enjoy a consistent 40-hour workweek, from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, allowing for both work-life balance and a rewarding professional experience.
