Physician Liaison II [Remote]

Location Requirement: This position supports the Maryland market, which includes Howard, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, and Baltimore counties. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the area upon hire. Regular local travel within the assigned territory will be required to support business needs.

Summary

Builds and maintains relationships between healthcare providers and the organization to enhance patient referrals and collaboration. Acts as a key point of contact for physicians, addressing their needs and concerns. Supports the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance physician engagement, coordinates outreach initiatives, and collaborates with internal teams to improve service delivery.

Essential Functions

Develops and nurtures relationships with physicians and healthcare providers to facilitate patient referrals and collaborations.

Works closely with physicians to understand their needs and provides solutions to enhance their experience with the organization.

Promotes the organization’s services, programs, and specialties to the medical community through regular outreach and presentations.

Coordinates with internal departments to address physician concerns and ensure seamless service delivery.

Organizes events, meetings, and educational sessions for physicians to foster engagement and knowledge sharing.

Monitors physician satisfaction and identifies opportunities for improvement through surveys and feedback mechanisms.

Prepares detailed reports on outreach activities, referral patterns, and physician engagement metrics.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the organization’s services, programs, and competitive landscape.

Supports strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing physician relationships and expanding the organization’s referral network.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent experience, preferably in marketing, communications, business, and/or public health.

2+ years of experience in healthcare relationship management required

One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience, or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

Valid Driver's License required. Motor vehicle for regional travel - about 75% of the work week.

Salary Range: $31.53/hour - $52.06/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
