About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU provides high-quality patient-centered care as part of the Yale New Haven Health System. This per diem position is ideal for nurses who are committed to collaborative practice and continuous improvement in patient care. Highlights Location: Bridgeport, CT Facility: Bridgeport Hospital Schedule: Per Diem What You’ll Do Collect pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation. Analyze assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses or issues. Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation. Develop and modify a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implement the identified plan. Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care. Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Communicate effectively in all areas of practice. Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders in nursing practice. Requirements Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Experience: PACU experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
