Order Entry and CS Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an Order Entry and CS Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Cypress, CA within the aerospace and defense industry. This role is ideal for a customer service professional with strong order management experience, hands-on ERP knowledge, and the ability to support customers through the full order process from quote and purchase order review through shipping coordination.

The Order Entry and CS Specialist will be a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, helping ensure orders are entered accurately, communication is timely, and service expectations are met. Key Responsibilities

- Enter and process customer orders accurately in an ERP system, ensuring pricing, part numbers, quantities, and delivery details are correct.
- Review customer purchase orders, prepare quotes, and communicate order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with shipping, purchasing, production, and operations teams to support timely order fulfillment.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email with professionalism, accuracy, and a strong service focus.
- Maintain accurate customer, order, and transaction records while following internal procedures and compliance requirements.
- Support issue resolution related to order changes, delivery updates, documentation, and customer requests.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $52,000 to $55,000 per year.
- Location: Cypress, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage high-volume customer order entry and order processing activities.
- Review purchase orders, prepare quotes, and support customer communication throughout the order lifecycle.
- Coordinate shipping updates and internal order follow-up with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate ERP records and support efficient customer service operations.

- 3 to 5 years of customer service and order management experience.
- Hands-on ERP system experience is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision is preferred, but experience with similar ERP systems will be considered.
- Experience handling purchase orders, quotes, order entry, customer communication, and shipping coordination.
- Background in aerospace, manufacturing, or distribution is strongly aligned with this opportunity.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to process orders accurately in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, follow through on open items, and work effectively with internal teams.
- Direct customer service and order processing experience is required, rather than a background focused primarily on general administration or warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
- Microsoft Dynamics/Navision experience.
- Familiarity with high-volume order entry, customer purchase orders, quoting, shipping coordination, and ERP-based customer support workflows.
