Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to design integrated care strategies.

Provide education for patients and families to support progress beyond the clinical settings.

Engage in inpatient speech therapy when necessary, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment continuum.

Document patient interactions accurately and promptly while adhering to state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

BLS certification required within the first month of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques applicable across all age groups, along with a robust understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Outstanding communication skills for building rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Adaptability to modify treatment methods to respect diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and proper documentation practices.
