Radiologist About the Role: A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist to join its clinical team in a fully remote capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed radiologist who values flexibility while providing accurate, timely, and high-quality diagnostic imaging interpretations that directly support patient care and clinical decision-making. The successful candidate will interpret a high volume of diagnostic imaging studies, including MRIs, X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds, while collaborating virtually with referring providers and other members of the clinical team. The current monthly imaging volume is approximately 1,200 MRIs, 300 X-rays, 300 CTs, and 200 ultrasounds, shared between two full-time radiologists. Key Responsibilities: Interpret diagnostic imaging studies accurately and efficiently, including MRIs, X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds. Prepare clear, comprehensive, and timely radiology reports. Communicate significant or clinically relevant findings to referring providers when appropriate. Provide clinical consultation and imaging-related guidance to healthcare providers as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and comply with documentation requirements. Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Apply strong clinical judgment when evaluating imaging findings and identifying potential abnormalities. Stay current with advancements in diagnostic imaging technology, radiology practices, and clinical standards. Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals in a virtual clinical environment. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and applicable patient privacy and confidentiality requirements. Required Qualifications: Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology. Active, unrestricted Texas medical license. Demonstrated experience interpreting X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans. Experience with ultrasound interpretation preferred based on clinical volume. Strong diagnostic, analytical, and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with radiology and imaging software. Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a remote clinical team.
