Job Duties

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Evaluate patient needs and tailor individual therapy approaches to help them reach their practical objectives

• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with other therapists, physicians, nurses, and additional healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Teach Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapy methods to support ongoing recovery at home
• Track Progress and Modify Plans: Monitor patient outcomes and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure continued success

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
