Per Diem Opportunity in Level III NICU for an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist in Henrico, VA - Day/Night Shift Coverage Combination

Responsibilities:\n

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Neonatologist to provide per diem coverage at Henrico Doctors Hospital (HDH) in Richmond, Virginia. This is your chance to practice in a state-of-the-art 40-bed Level III NICU with a supportive, experienced team.

Your Role \n

\n
• Staffing Model : 6 full-time Neonatologists\n
  \n
  • Day coverage : 2 Neonatologists (7:30 AM 5:00 PM)
  \n
  • Night coverage : 1 in-house Neonatologist (5:00 PM 7:30 AM)
  \n
\n
• Transport : Nurse-driven team with physician oversight (avg. 15 transports/year)
\n
• Procedures & Services :\n
  \n
  • High-frequency ventilation (HFOV & HFJV)
  \n
  • Inhaled nitric oxide
  \n
  • Therapeutic hypothermia with aEEG
  \n
  • Pediatric surgical patients
  \n
  • No ECMO or cardiac surgery (except PDA ligations)
  \n

• NICU Admissions: 130

• NICU Average Daily Census (ADC): 14.3
\n
• Nursery ADC: 24.2
\n
