The Opportunity Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Current national certification, DEA, and ACLS is preferred. New grads encouraged to apply. Paid internship/training program available. Current VA state license is a plus. This role is primarily for Observation Unit. Day shift rotation of 10- and 12-hour shifts. Less than 25% nights (3-5 shifts per month or less) required, cross coverage only, no admits.

The Practice Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center – Midlothian, Virginia 130-beds with an additional 55 beds being added by 2024. 10-bed Observation Unit. Annual volume of 32,000+ Services at St. Francis include all types of surgery, women's services, 24-hour onsite neonatology, 24-hour emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, urology, pediatric services, cardiac catheterization, MRI/CT, diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine. Bon Secours Cancer Institute at St. Francis offers services in radiation, medical and surgical oncology, diagnostic services, infusion therapy, palliative care, and patient/family education services.
