Senior Director, Business Optimization (Print Practice Group)

From your background in management consulting, you will leverage your critical thinking skills to influence, negotiate, implement and manage cost reduction solutions for our clients. As Senior Director, you will provide leadership and guidance for your team as well as evaluate client situations and partner with the expense area experts to analyze and negotiate pricing for PRP clients. The Senior Director is responsible to successful execution of Practice Group strategy, meeting of financial goals (P&L Management), and team development.What You’ll Do:Responsible for meeting or exceeding department and personal performance to key performance indicator goalsSell new projects and renewal contracts to existing clients with a high level of urgency via:Building meaningful relationships with C Suite executivesIdentify and deliver new value to existing clientsMaximize client savings achieved and value to retain targeted accounts after initial engagementMaintain C-level engagement by meeting regularly, in person, to confirm savings achieved, obtain approval to implement additional savings and build trusted relationshipsIdentify, track, manage (define root cause and effective counter measures), and quickly resolve project issuesEstablish, maintain, and track performance through dashboards that reflect contributions from all team playersLeadership responsibility of 2-4 direct reportsEvaluate and mentor staff, fostering personal as well as professional growth resulting in team retention, direct reports being promoted and taking on more responsibilityEstablish productive working collaborative relationships with partners in other operational groups within the companyQuickly garner internal resources from all departments to collaborate with and find a way to keep projects moving forward when faced with adversityIdentify and lead company and department improvement initiatives through to implementationCollaborate with internal subject matter experts to gain knowledge, ensure inter-departmental cooperation, and adopt best practices to execute client initiativesPartner with clients to ensure compliance to service agreementWhat You Need: Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 11-15 years of expense reduction consulting experience4+ years of management/supervisory experiencePrint industry experience a strong plusExcellent written, verbal, and visual communication skillsExcellent quantitative and qualitative skills; Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skillsAbility to lead others to complete complex projects on timeExperience in building relationships and alignment amongst team members and clients with demonstrated leadership skillsProven ability to deliver resultsWho We Are:Profit Recovery Partners is a management consulting firm specializing in enterprise cost optimization and spend reduction.
