Titling Clerk – Simply Ride

Position Summary

The Title Clerk is responsible for accurately processing all vehicle titles and registration paperwork for motorcycles bought and sold by the dealership. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, maintains accurate records, and provides exceptional support to customers and internal departments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities (Top 5)

1. Title & Registration Processing
   
   
   
   • Prepare and submit title, registration, and related documentation for motorcycles in compliance with state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) requirements
   • Process all incoming vehicle titles, lien releases, and POA paperwork.
2. Documentation Accuracy
   
   
   
   • Review sales contracts, lienholder information, and supporting paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission. 
3. Recordkeeping & Compliance
   
   
   
   • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all titles, registrations, and liens in accordance with state and dealership policies.
4. Customer & Lender Support
   
   
   
   • Assist customers, banks, and finance companies with title-related questions and provide status updates on pending paperwork. 
5. Internal Collaboration
   
   
   
   • Work closely with the sales and finance departments to resolve title discrepancies and ensure timely processing for customer delivery. 

Qualifications

• Prior experience in automotive or powersports titling/DMV work preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork.
• Knowledge of state DMV regulations and lienholder requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
