About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVOR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Fulfill on-call requirements including approximately 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weeknights per week (approximately 8–9 call days per month total)
• Float to different units as needed based on assignment demands
• Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand (State or Compact)
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience (adult or pediatric)
• At least 1 completed travel assignment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency across a broad range of CVOR skills (adult or pediatric)
• Experience floating to varied units within a hospital environment
• Background in pediatric cardiovascular surgical nursing
