Technical Product Owner -Data & Analytics

Job Summary Johnson & Johnson Heart Recovery is seeking a Technical Product Owner, Data & Analytics within the Heart Recovery business (Abiomed). This role is primarily based in Danvers, Massachusetts and focuses on end-to-end delivery of business and technology outcomes through ownership, evolution, and optimization of Data & Analytics capabilities. Key Responsibilities Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for data and analytics products. Translate complex business needs into clear product requirements, including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize work based on business value, risk, dependencies, and capacity constraints. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards. Drive adoption and value realization of Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau and Power BI. Partner with data engineering teams on data warehousing and data mart design to support scalable analytics. Enable self‑service analytics through certified datasets, semantic layers, reusable dashboards, and analytics standards. Support data cataloging and metadata management to improve data discoverability, trust, and reuse. Serve as the primary product interface for business leaders, analytics users, and technology teams. Collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, and platform teams to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery. Communicate roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to senior stakeholders. Lead, coach, and develop the Delivery Squad and manage team capacity. Build an inclusive, high‑performing team culture focused on continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance requirements. Identify and manage product risks, technical debt, and dependencies. Measure success through adoption, usage, value delivered, and stakeholder satisfaction. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field. 6+ years of experience in data & analytics, including 3+ years in technology product owner or product manager roles. Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or Product Manager in a data & analytics environment. Hands‑on experience with Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau and Power BI. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, analytical datasets, and data marts. Experience supporting data cataloging and metadata management capabilities. Demonstrated success enabling self‑service analytics for business users at scale. Familiarity with agile and product‑centric delivery models. Ability to work on site in Danvers, MA at least three days per week. Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, MedTech, life sciences, or other regulated industries. Exposure to enterprise data platform modernization initiatives. Experience working in global or matrixed organizations. Compensation & Benefits Anticipated base pay range: $102,000 - $171,100. Eligible for an annual performance bonus and long‑term incentive program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, and group legal insurance. Eligibility for a consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Paid time off: vacation up to 120 hours per calendar year; sick time up to 40 hours per year (56 in Washington state); holiday pay up to 13 days per year; work, personal and family time up to 40 hours per year.
