This individual should be comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams to support customers throughout the sales process.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with growers throughout the assigned territoryIdentify prospective customers and generate new business opportunitiesBuild a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, industry relationships, and direct outreachMeet with growers to understand their operations, challenges, and business needsManage the sales process from initial introduction through close and ongoing account managementDevelop long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for continued growthBuild relationships with agricultural industry professionals and referral partnersCoordinate with internal teams to ensure successful customer implementation and ongoing supportMaintain accurate sales activity, customer information, and territory plans within the company's CRMAssist with territory budgeting, forecasting, and sales planningProvide ongoing customer support and serve as a primary point of contact within the territoryTravel regularly throughout California's Central Valley to meet with customers and prospectsQualificationsProven agricultural sales experienceExperience selling products, services, xhyhwjd or solutions directly to growersEstablished relationships within California's Central Valley agricultural community strongly preferredExperience working with permanent crop, fruit, and/or nut growers highly preferredDemonstrated success in consultative sales and new business developmentStrong understanding of the agricultural industry and the challenges facing California growersAbility to establish credibility and build long-term customer relationshipsSelf-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independentlyStrong communication, organization, and follow-up skillsCRM experience preferredValid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
