Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Pay: $30.00/hour
Full-Time Position
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs
Shift Supervisor Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Prior experience working in a union environment is a plus
• Experience leading and managing diverse teams
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Kanban principles preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Excellent attendance and performance record required

About the Shift Supervisor Role
Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, supervising production employees, and ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity goals are consistently met.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:

• Schedule and assign personnel to meet production goals and customer demands
• Monitor workflow, prioritize production needs, and adjust schedules as necessary
• Supervise and coordinate daily shift operations to maintain efficiency and productivity
• Complete and maintain shift production reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, production specifications, and company procedures
• Monitor quality systems including SPC requirements and print conformance standards
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with customer issue investigation and resolution efforts
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and support as needed
• Promote workplace safety, housekeeping, and proper equipment maintenance
• Review attendance, approve timesheets, and process employee updates in E-time systems
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development
• Lead operational improvement projects and support production goals
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, and cross-functional teams
• Perform additional supervisory and operational duties as assigned
