Managing an assigned loan portfolio, the full-time Homebuilder Finance Underwriter will structure and underwrite complex commercial credit transactions, analyze credit risk, negotiate loan terms, and mentor junior team members while working remotely. Key responsibilities Lead underwriting efforts for complex loan requests and assess creditworthiness Continuously monitor portfolio performance to identify credit risks and trends Collaborate with relationship managers in client negotiations and credit agreement reviews Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or 10+ years of equivalent experience 4+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management Advanced financial modeling and risk assessment expertise Strong negotiation skills and experience structuring complex loan transactions Ability to analyze macroeconomic trends and their impact on credit risk
