RN: ER

Job Description: Step into the role of an ER Registered Nurse providing nighttime coverage in an acute care hospital setting in Alton, Illinois. This contract is built around 12-hour night shifts, where you’ll work a consistent schedule of 36 hours per week across 3×12-hour days. You’ll be part of a busy Emergency Room workflow, supporting rapid assessment and treatment needs while using EPIC for documentation. This assignment is a great fit for an ER RN who enjoys focused, high-tempo nights and values preparedness—especially when caring for patients across a wide range of conditions in the Emergency Room. The facility requires at least 1 year of experience, and first-timers are accepted. Weekends are required on an every‑other basis. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS, plus PALS and NRP. The role is not on‑call, and floating within scope to meet facility needs is not expected.
