Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$1958.40/week - Job Summary: Providing comprehensive nursing care to post-operative patients in a fast-paced Medical Surgical unit, the RN will ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes through effective clinical practices and teamwork. Responsibilities: Administer bedside care, including dressing changes, wound management, and drain care. Monitor and document patient progress using Meditech EMR. Assist with post-operative patient recovery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to deliver optimal patient experiences and meet unit goals. Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient responses, supporting clinical decision-making. Adhere to dress code policies and safety standards while maintaining a professional demeanor. Qualifications: Valid RN license with at least 2 years of acute care experience preferred. Demonstrate proficiency in wound care, drain management, and post-operative procedures. Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Meditech, is required. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment with a team-oriented approach. Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and patient advocacy focus. BLS certification required; the preferred candidate will have additional relevant certifications.
