Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• US Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive US data center sourcing strategy aligned with GMI Cloud's global rapid expansion plans and long-term AI infrastructure roadmap, with a strong focus on US markets.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Market Intelligence & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on global data center supply, demand, pricing trends, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies, providing critical insights into both existing inventory and future growth opportunities
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Relationship Building & Network Leverage: Proactively cultivate and leverage a strong personal network within the data center, real estate, and colocation industries, particularly across the US territory, to identify strategic opportunities.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Deal Negotiation & Execution: Lead complex negotiations for data center leases, colocation agreements, power procurement, and connectivity services, ensuring favorable terms, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with technical requirements.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Vendor Management: Establish and manage strategic relationships with key data center operators, real estate developers, and infrastructure service providers globally.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, legal, finance, and operations teams to translate technical requirements into sourcing specifications and ensure seamless project delivery from site selection to operational readiness.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with data center sourcing, including supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors, and compliance issues.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement scalable sourcing processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and accelerate global expansion.
\n

\n

\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 8+ years of progressive experience in global data center sourcing, real estate, or infrastructure procurement within the technology, cloud, or telecommunications sectors.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Demonstrated expertise and a strong personal network within the data center and real estate ecosystem, especially in the US region
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Led data center procurement projects from greenfield development to completion.
\n
• Profound insights into data center market dynamics, including understanding of existing inventory, planned expansions, power availability, and connectivity trends.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully closing complex, high-value infrastructure deals.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Solid understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, connectivity, security) and relevant technical specifications.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Experience managing projects across diverse geographies and cultures.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Strong analytical skills, capable of performing detailed cost analysis, financial modeling, and market assessments.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and hyper-growth startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hyperscale cloud providers or large-scale AI/HPC infrastructure companies.
\n
• Familiarity with international regulatory and compliance frameworks related to data center operations.
