Funding Specialist

What To Expect

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and organized Funding Specialist to join our Funding Team. Our Funding Team is an elite group that supports the seamless collection of all customer trade-in vehicle payoffs.

As a Funding Specialist, you will own the resolution of North American funding delays and ensure loans are finalized and funded accurately and on time. You will be a primary point of contact for customers while partnering with Delivery, Tesla Lending, banking partners, and internal teams across the U.S. and Canada.

What You'll Do

• Manage post-delivery funding delay cases and drive issues to resolution through full loan finalization
• Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding post-delivery funding related issues and coordinate with Delivery as well as Tesla Lending Partners (U.S. and Canada) to clear outstanding lending items
• Prepare and submit loan contracts to banks in line with each bank’s requirements
• Follow up with lenders multiple times daily to confirm loan funding/cash receipt and partner with Accounts Receivable to investigate as well as confirm loan payments
• Monitor and respond to emails from personal and funding team inboxes across multiple groups
• Perform accurate data entry, support special audit projects, manage incoming paperwork, maintain organized case documentation, and meet management-defined KPIs
• Work mandatory weekends during the last month of each quarter

What You'll Bring

• Prior experience in an administrative role, dealership, or work with vehicle titles preferred
• Intermediate excel skills a plus (pivot tables, filters, Vlookups)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (confident on the phone), strong attention to detail, solutions/data focused (path forward thinking)

Expected Compensation

$20.80 - $36.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
