We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can maintain quality while meeting production goals. You will work with small, delicate components made from:Thin alumina ceramicsStainless steel, titanium, and copperElectronics componentsSelect plasticsResponsibilitiesOperate CNC laser machining equipmentLoad parts and set machine offsetsPerform simple program editsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsMeasure parts using precision inspection toolsPerform visual inspections and deburr finished componentsMonitor machine performance and report equipment issuesPerform basic preventative maintenanceMaintain a clean and organized work areaCommunicate effectively with production, engineering, quality, and supervisorsAssist with equipment startup and shutdown after trainingQualificationsPrevious CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience with machine setup, offsets, changeovers, and basic program editing is highly desirableAbility to use precision measuring instruments, including:CalipersMicrometersDepth gaugesIndicators and scalesAbility to read blueprints and perform basic shop mathStrong manual dexterity and attention to detailExcellent visual inspection skills for small, precision componentsGood written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWillingness to train on 1st Shift if neededCNC Experience EncouragedCandidates with experience operating CNC milling machines (HAAS, Fadal, Mitsubishi, or similar) are encouraged to apply. Transferable machining skills can be applied to 2-axis laser machining centers using Aerotech controllers.
