Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

SCHEDULE
12-hour Nights; 1900-0730 x3 shifts per week
Weekend requirements: Required to work up to 3 weekend nights (Fri/Sat/Sun) per pay period
Holiday requirements: Required based on unit needs

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

REQUIREMENTS
- KS or Multi State RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & Conscious Sedation Competency
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in the Emergency Department within the last 12 months
- Preferred: 2 years minimum in the Emergency Department
- Additional Certification Preferred: TNCC

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency department setting.
- Assess patient needs and prioritize care based on the severity of conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
- Ensure compliance with care standards and safety protocols.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Orientation requirements include attendance at site-specific training sessions and virtual training.
- Background checks and drug screens are mandatory prior to start.
- Facility is a nicotine-free environment.
- Timekeeping is done through UKG.
- Bi-weekly pay period.
