Health Visitor - Children & Families

The Role We work within the Children and Families Health Visiting team to support families, providing the highest quality, evidence‑based care within a designated caseload. This full‑time post requires a registered health visitor or registered specialist community public health nurse to deliver children and young people’s care in partnership with health and community organisations. Duration, Location, and Working Pattern This is a part‑time permanent post of 21.6 hours per week. Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time posts. Based at Pollokshaws Clinic, 35 Wellgreen, Pollokshaws, Glasgow G43 1RR. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday. PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland check is required. Key Responsibilities Please see attached Job Description below. Minimum Requirements Registered Health Visitor or Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. Evidence of continuing professional development. IT skills – word processing, e‑mail, internet. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Valid driving licence and vehicle (car driver).
