Financial Analyst, Compute Infrastructure Business

Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the Google Compute Engine product portfolio, providing in-depth analysis to optimize financial performance.Manage product strategy through monthly and quarterly gross margin reviews and financial forecasting.Partner with Product Management and Finance teams to drive business decisions, including product roadmap prioritization, internal and external pricing, and optimizing customer discounts.Support Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives and New Product Introductions (NPI) by conducting unit economics analyses and Profit and Loss impact assessments in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Align Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Operating Expenditure (OpEx) investments with demand and contribute to efficient resource allocations by partnering with Capacity and Product Finance teams.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.Experience with SQL.Preferred qualifications:Experience in business strategy and cloud strategy.Experience with communication strategy and presenting financial insights.Knowledge of the Cloud and Software industry, including different roles and incentives.Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions.
