Field Application Specialist (Chrom/TFF Systems)- Mid-Atlantic /Southeast

Field Applications Specialist supporting downstream processing technology implementation across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. This role provides technical expertise and troubleshooting for chromatography and tangential flow filtration systems to customers in biologics manufacturing, working remotely with frequent regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Support customer evaluations and technical consultations for chromatography, TFF, centrifugation, and consumable solutions
• Execute application trials, validation studies, and proof-of-concept activities with structured documentation
• Troubleshoot technical issues and performance challenges by analyzing processes and coordinating corrective actions
• Capture customer feedback, application trends, and competitive intelligence to inform portfolio development
• Train customers on new technologies and support initial start-up implementation activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years application support, technical support, or field applications experience in downstream bioprocessing
• 1+ years in-depth knowledge of biologics process development and monoclonal antibody scale-up
• Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and perform demonstrations in customer environments
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel more than 50% and lift up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce and Tableau experience preferred

Compensation: $90,000-$116,530 base plus sales incentive plan and car allowance
