Separations Field Application Specialist (RTP)
Sartorius Corporation
Sartorius seeks a Separations Field Application Specialist to support the sales and implementation of separation technologies (NFF, TFF, UF/DF) for customers in the RTP and Southeast regions. The role combines technical expertise, customer support, and field demonstrations to drive product adoption and market growth.
Responsibilities
- Support sales through product presentations, demonstrations, trials, and customer URS analysis
- Conduct product trials, generate trial reports, and provide technical support to resolve field implementation issues
- Train internal sales teams and dealers; conduct customer workshops and seminars
- Collect and analyze product performance data and customer feedback to identify improvement needs
- Support quality department in complaint resolution and competitor analysis reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biological engineering, biotechnology, or related life sciences field; Master's preferred
- 3+ years in process development, bioprocessing, MSAT, or CDMO manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of TFF, UF/MF/DF, NFF, viral filtration and clarification products
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and conduct product trials and demonstrations
- Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Willing to travel >50%, including overnight trips; able to lift approximately 50 pounds
