Field Application Specialist - Separations Technology, Virgina or Mayland
Sartorius Corporation
Field Application Specialist supporting Sartorius separation technologies (NFF, TFF, UF/DF) in Maryland and Virginia. The role involves providing technical expertise, conducting customer evaluations and trials, resolving technical issues, and enabling product adoption across the customer lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support customer evaluations and technical consultations by translating process requirements into product recommendations
- Execute application trials, validations, and proof-of-concept activities with documentation and customer training
- Troubleshoot technical inquiries and product performance issues; coordinate corrective actions with internal teams
- Contribute technical insights and competitive positioning during opportunity development and sales support
- Capture customer feedback and field intelligence; share recommendations with Product Management and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years in process development, bioprocessing, or field application support in biotech/biopharm/CDMO
- 1+ years hands-on knowledge of TFF, UF/MF/DF, NFF, viral filtration products
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and design customer evaluations
- Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Willingness to travel over 50%; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce and Tableau experience preferred
