Human Resources Specialist

Job Title
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:
Ensure full compliance with merit system principles and regulatory requirements for Senior Executive Service (SES) and Senior Level (SL) staffing, recruitment, classification, and placement actions.
Serve as a human resources specialist with responsibility for providing the full range of human resources servicing, advice and guidance to senior-level executive and management officials, SES members, Presidential appointees, and Schedule Cs on all aspects of career and non-career senior executive and political appointee personnel programs.
Advisory, technical, and operational responsibilities include, but are not limited to, such functional areas as: executive allocation management; position classification; recruitment, staffing and placement; and salary and compensation administration.
