The Dispatch Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing scheduling and route planning for a funeral home environment. This position involves coordinating with team members, handling customer interactions, and ensuring accurate data entry using existing software. Reporting to a single manager, the role balances independent tasks with collaboration in a team-based setting, with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and plan efficient routes for dispatch operations
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Perform accurate data entry to maintain dispatch records
• Coordinate activities within the funeral home to support service delivery
• Manage customer inquiries and interactions professionally
• Collaborate with the dispatch team while working independently as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a dispatcher

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Previous dispatch experience or related knowledge
