Assistant Manager

Location: KFC 116 Browns Hill Road, Locust, NC 28097. Overview As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and meeting all restaurant standards, including customer satisfaction, cash control/security procedures, inventory management, labor management, financial reporting, and sales growth. The Assistant Manager builds a strong team that consistently provides customers with great food and a friendly experience. The Assistant Manager must have strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude. Essential Functions Shift management – ensure shift managers and team members complete their tasks, assist in scheduling shifts, and deploy the team. Customer service – ensure customers have a positive dining experience and provide support in escalated situations. Employee management – supervise, develop, and train new hires; ensure staff consistently deliver excellent service; address performance issues. Food safety – maintain a safe environment for employees and customers and foster strong food‑safety practices. Inventory management – manage inventory and enforce company policies. Financial accountability – optimize profit and control costs. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2–4 years of supervisory experience in fast‑food, quick‑service restaurant, food‑service, or retail environments, including P&L responsibility. Basic PC literacy. Must pass background check criteria and drug test. Must have reliable transportation. Can tolerate standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
