Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating days of the week
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• Must have Nevada state license in hand before start date
• Required licenses: AART or RCIS, NV State License
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Provide nuclear medicine services to patients of all age groups from neonatal to geriatric
• Work with state-of-the-art scintillation cameras, computers, and support equipment
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays
• Perform minor clerical duties as needed
• Communicate with physicians and nursing personnel regarding patient scheduling and preparations

This healthcare facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, serving a 500-mile radius with an extremely busy and fast-paced environment. The facility operates with the volume and pace of a Level 1 trauma center, featuring 800 inpatient beds and 80 emergency room beds. The organization provides the most advanced care in the region, including specialized services for complex medical conditions, and is home to the region's only children's hospital, leading robotic surgery institute, and comprehensive heart and cancer services.
