We strive to make a substantial impact within our communities to combat the tragically-high child drowning statistics. The Position The Swim Instructor's number one priority is on teaching the aquatics program at British Swim School, talking to the students and families about the program, demonstrating skills, communicating, and holding yourself accountable. Your Typical Responsibilities Follow British Swim Schools curriculum to ensure safe and competent lessons. Establish and maintain relationships with students’ parents and/or guardians, and the team. Teach British Swim School lessons with encouragement and positive reinforcement. Minimum Qualifications 16 or older. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Comfortable in and around the water. Willing to undergo a background check. Preferred Qualifications Experience in teaching children or adults. Swim Experience. Have or willing to obtain Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED Certification(s). Graduated high school or at least on track to. Job Type Part-time Hours We are a newer to the area company.
