Assistant Controller

North Fresno, CA | Full-Time | $60,000 – $75,000 + Full Benefits

We’re partnering with a well-established and growing organization in North Fresno to find an Assistant Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and takes pride in keeping things accurate, organized, and running smoothly.

You’ll work directly under a supportive, highly respected Controller who is known for being collaborative, approachable, and genuinely invested in their team’s success. This is a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same. You’ll be involved in both core accounting functions and ongoing operational projects:

• Perform GL reconciliations and maintain accuracy across accounts
• Track and manage loan balances and related activity
• Review and analyze expenses and financial data
• Assist with financial reporting and month-end processes
• Approve bills and oversee payables workflow
• Support various accounting and administrative projects as they arise
• Help maintain organization and efficiency in a high-volume transaction environment

• Strong, hands-on accounting experience (this matters more than a degree)
• Experience with:
  • General Ledger reconciliations
  • Expense tracking and reporting
  • Loan/account balance management
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Willingness to jump in and help with projects and process improvements
• A team player who communicates well and takes ownership of their work
