Front Desk Medical Receptionist | Part-Time | Fayetteville, NC 28304

BreakThrough Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Medical Receptionist (Front Office Assistant) to support our Fayetteville clinic. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment!

Pay Rate: $15/Hour

Part Time (20 Hours/Week)

Schedule: M-TH: 1pm-6pm; Friday 11:30am to 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

You'll achieve success by:

• Managing front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while providing exceptional customer service.
• Verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments to support accurate billing and ensure smooth patient access to care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documentation.
• Answering phone calls and assisting patients in a courteous and professional manner while upholding HIPAA compliance and fostering a welcoming healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Basic office and customer service skills
• Previous experience in a similar role desired but not required
