Local Team Collaboration:

Community Behavioral Health Center APPs collaborate with a large team of clinicians within the Community Medical Center system
Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.
Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows.

Qualifications:

Board-certified/eligible physician assistants.
Active California license preferred.
Experience working as an advanced practice provider in an acute care hospital setting is required.
Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

Full- or part-time, day shift role.
7 on/7 off schedule.
Shifts are 12 hours; 7 am - 7 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment.
Consulted only on medical issues. Psychiatry is the primary for all patients.
Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
Utilize Epic EMR system.

Fresno is a few hours' drive from California's picturesque coastline. Explore the beautiful beaches and charming towns along the Central Coast, such as Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, or Pismo Beach.
Enjoy a mild year-round climate with more than 300 days of sunshine annually.
Fresno's location in the agricultural heart of California means it is surrounded by fresh, locally grown produce. From farm-to-table restaurants to lively farmers' markets, food lovers will find plenty to enjoy. The city boasts a rich array of dining options.

Rewards and Compensation:

Annual compensation of $160,000-$165,000 plus bonuses, based on the number of shifts worked.
Moonlighting premium for additional shifts
