THE POSITION

As a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be managing several projects in a dynamic fast-paced global environment, ensuring compliance with company business policies and procedures.

You will work on onsite in Olathe, KS under the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Standards application and product improvement

• Develop and improve work practices and processes

• Review process and product quality

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Lead large scale projects

• Mentor and coach junior level engineers

• Develop new techniques and analytical tools

• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing and supply base for building projects pipeline and timely execution

• Establish and drive manufacturing engineering strategy

• Lead, mentor, and coach team of project managers to conduct workshops

• Business case development and execution of projects as per process guidelines

• Build pipeline for YOY improvement in results.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 10 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing related fields

• Extensive relevant experience in manufacturing engineering

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Aerospace

• Master's Degree or advanced professional certification

• Expert knowledge of manufacturing engineering

• Strong technical knowledge of Avionics products like weather radar and collision avoidance products

• Lean/6s Certification

• Working knowledge of SAP
