Clinical Pharmacist Account Manager
We are currently searching for a Clinical Pharmacist Account Manager to join a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) in Baltimore, Maryland. Our client offers excellent benefits, competitive salary and relocation assistance.
Requirements of the Clinical Pharmacist Account Manager:
- PharmD + 3 years industry experience. Experience interacting with PBMs strongly preferred.
- Experience managing or participating in Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committee meetings, scheduling and documentation.
- Experience leading and presenting P&T meetings strongly preferred.
- Experience reviewing medications in a therapeutic class for efficacy, safety, and cost analysis and presenting findings and recommendations.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Pharmacist Account Manager:
- Author, develop and maintain a clinically sound PDL. Provide therapeutic class reviews and review all medications available in therapeutic classes. Distribute changes of material to prescribers.
- Work with contractors to oversee educational outreach to prescribers.
- Provide clinical support and clinical position papers in ad hoc committees as required.
- Facilitate and conduct continuing education programs to department staff.
