Front Office Receptionist
Lake Michigan Nephrology is hiring a Front Office Receptionist to add to our team!
Office hours Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm; Friday 9am-3pm
Receptionist, Front End position includes the following but is not limited to:
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, route calls, and take messages appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Verify insurance coverage; collect co-pays and patient payments
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic data
- Handle patient inquiries, medical records, and related paperwork
- Manage incoming/outgoing faxes, mail, and office correspondence
- Coordinate with dialysis centers, hospitals, labs, and referring providers
