Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related situations. This role blends keen attention to detail with outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
Monitor communication channels, dispatch personnel to reported incidents, and document security-related activity, calls, and/or status updates in a timely manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate resources and relay information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while monitoring access activity and reporting unusual conditions or concerns.
Support daily operations by maintaining post records, preparing incident reports, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors regarding site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be 21+ years of age.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
