Key Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina EC General Education K-12 certification required
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher within a school setting
• Familiarity with the ECATS IEP system
• Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Passion for providing support to students in a resource setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to K-4 elementary students in accordance with IEPs
• Develop and implement personalized educational plans using the ECATS IEP system
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment for every learner
