Finance professional to assist individuals and businesses in organizing financial records, determining tax liabilities, and filing accurate tax returns with the appropriate federal, state, and local agencies. To ensure compliance with tax codes while legally minimizing tax burdens and maximizing refunds.
- Interviewing clients to gather critical financial data, such as income, deductions, and dependents, and explaining complex tax concepts in plain English.
- Reviewing financial records like W-2s, 1099s, and receipts for accuracy and omissions.
- Using professional tax software to compute taxes owed or refunds due, identifying eligible deductions and credits.
- Ensuring all forms are submitted to the IRS and state agencies prior to legal deadlines.
- Advising clients on how to structure their finances to minimize tax liabilities for future years
