Edwards, Inc. is a full-service industrial general contractor providing construction, fabrication, and crane services. We operate one of the largest fleets of road ready hydraulic cranes in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment/Crane Diesel Mechanic in the Spring Hope, NC area.Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:Continually walk/stand on surfaces which may be even/uneven, stable/unstable, and varying compositions.Work in awkward spaces and/or positions including confined spaces and climbing.The ability to routinely lift up to 80+ lbs. and push up to 60 lbs.Excellent hand/eye coordination, depth perception, and peripheral vision.Requirements2+ years' experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines.HS Diploma or EquivalentValid Driver's LicenseExcellent communication skills and commitment to safetyAdditional SkillsClean Driving RecordHydraulic and Electrical systems background is a plus.Mechanical experience with cranes is a plus.Own all tools needed to work withBilingual Skills (English/Spanish) is a plusCompetitive Benefits Package:Health / Dental InsuranceDisabilityLife InsurancePaid Time Off: Vacation and Holiday401(k)And more!Working conditions may be indoor or outdoor.
