Travel RN - Case Management/Utilization Review - Case Management

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Case Management position at a Kansas City, MO hospital, requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care discharge planning experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work is performed in the Case Management/Continuum of Care department of a 590-bed acute care hospital in Kansas City, MO,
• Patient caseload ratio of approximately 1:25, which may vary,
• Unit staffing includes RNs, social workers (SW), and CMAs,
• Documentation systems used: Meditech, Midas, and Wellsky,
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with rotating weekends,
• No on-call requirements,
• Floating to other units within the facility may be required,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license - MO state license or a compact RN license recognized in Missouri is required,
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start,
• Minimum 1 year of recent case management or acute care discharge planning experience required,
• US SSN and date of birth (DOB) required for consideration - Canadian SSNs are not accepted,
• Two professional references required,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• Responsibilities include acute care discharge planning and case management within the Continuum of Care department,
• Business casual dress code required,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - local candidates are not eligible for this position,
• Wellsky, Meditech, and Midas are the EMR/documentation platforms used on this unit
