Heavy Civil Construction Company is seeking a junior Estimator to assistant with Lead Estimator. This position is in-person, and you may be asked to attend in-person pre-bids, visit job-sites, and deliver bids to customers. We are seeking in-house employees, NOT contracted companies.

Clerical Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills to achieve any goal
• Highly Organized, detail oriented & Ability to Prioritize Tasks and Scheduling
• Must have the ability to self-audit work
• Internet Proficient, Computer Savvy
• Logging information
• Phone call and data collection in timely fashion
• Assisting Estimating Department

Computer Programs:

• HCSS, Heavy Bid Software Knowledge
• Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook & PowerPoint
• QuickBooks Accounting Knowledge
• Accu-pour

Education/Certifications/Experience:

• Associate Degree or better
• Notary Public
• Prior Experience in Construction Industry, Heavy Civil, Site Development & Concrete
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• MUST have a valid driver's license and own form of transportation. May be asked to attend in-person pre-bids, visit job-sites, and deliver bids to customers.

Must maintain professional demeanor, have abilities to multi-task, be proactive, detail-oriented, result driven & team player!

Job Type: This position is a full-time in-person position.

Office Hours: 7AM - 4PM, 1 Hour Lunch, Monday through Friday.

Pay Starting at: $22.00 per hour, negotiable upon experience.
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Benefits: 401K available 60 days upon hire.
