Communications Specialist
Duties for the Communications Specialist position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with national, regional and local media representatives.
- Independently monitoring workplace safety and health social media communities.
- Coordinating with the OSHA directorates to determine appropriate information/resources to promote and ensure relevancy and consistency of messages across multiple networks.
- Developing detailed annual plan for media relations and public information.
- Compiling information and draft speeches, with accompanying graphics, for delivery by management at various public events.
