Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry Float

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend coverage required.

13-week contract, with an average census of 36 patients. No call requirement.

Minimum 3 years of RN experience, including at least 2 years in Telemetry and Medical/Surgical settings.

California RN license required.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.

Ability to read cardiac strips.

Experience in both inpatient telemetry and general medical surgical care.

Knowledge of total joint orthopedic surgical cases is essential.

Skills in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac procedures, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and respiratory care.

Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry/med-surg setting.

Manage cardiac monitoring and emergency response situations.

Administer medications and blood products as per protocols.

Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient assessments.

Supervise and train junior staff in relevant procedures.

Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
